Peter’s Camera — Canon Digital Rebel

God has blessed me with a new camera—the Canon Digital Rebel! It has been so much fun going around and taking pictures with it. In fact, I had to get a larger hard drive to store all my pictures!

My primary (right now my one and only) lens is a Canon EF 28–105mm USM II lens. With the Digital Rebel’s 1.6 focal magnification ratio, this is equivalent to 45–168 on 35mm—slightly wide-angle to a good-size zoom. I was surprised at how much improvement there was between the pictures from my first camera to the ones I’ve taken with my new system. The depth of field is increasingly noticeable with apertures as low as f3.5 that my lens will support.
