Today was a bittersweet day for Kristina and me as we said farewell to all our friends at Headquarters. We both gave our testimonies in staff meeting—one of these days I might post them online. But for now, I posted a surprise farewell web site that my coworkers designed for me. John Long and Victoria Wang had the idea to make a bulletin board web site and put notes from all my coworkers on it. It’s a winner! Take a look at it >>

While stuck in traffic en route to Cape Cod, my family had time to create bio pages for Janet and Kristina.

Kristina recently bought a new digital camera, and she let me take pictures of the Fourth of July fireworks with it. I got some really cool shots—take a look!

Wow, a lot has happened since my last update! I found out that ten of my submissions had won in their respective categories, and in fact, I was the grand prize winner from the whole Zoo outing! However, three weeks ago, my digital camera was crushed by a pickup truck while I was playing Frisbee. God used this “tragedy” to cause me to reevaluate my priorities—I had gotten them way out of line. God gave me the grace to share my testimony at the Pacific Garden Mission the next Sunday. Those of us who were in Chicago over Memorial Day went on a group outing to the Brookfield Zoo. We all had lots of fun there, even though it rained part of the time. We were taking pictures all throughout the day—some people, just for the fun of it; others had the goal of submitting them for the photography contest afterwards! You’ll find my favorite photos from the Brookfield Zoo outing right here, along with some others that one of my friends took.

I just got my Ohio driver’s license this weekend, and today I drove my very own car out to Chicago! Read the story of how God provided my car…

I’m making this web update on a wireless network at the Prizewinning Photography course in Dallas, Texas! Go to my IPS photo gallery to see some of my favorite pictures.

On my way home for Easter weekend, I had lots of time in the car to work on my website. I used the time to sort through and reorganize the stylesheets which now makes the site compatible with older browsers and the styles easier to customize!

I spent some time last night creating a separate stylesheet that controls the printed portion of my site. (This is a very cool feature of CSS!) I was able to decide what doesn’t need to be printed, what does, and how it will look on the page. To see what I mean, go to your browser’s Print Preview screen.

Kristina and I went down to Chicago over the weekend. Take a look at some of the pictures we took in the new Downtown Chicago photo gallery.

There is a brand-new HQ Staff gallery among my photo galleries! Also, the Kroon Family photo gallery finally has some pictures in it!

I spent some time this weekend working on the CL photo gallery. I also updated the comments on all the individual pages.

I’ve been working on the photo gallery section a whole lot recently, and now that the pictures are up, I’m creating the individual pages for the photos.

The newest addition to this website is a huge collection of photos I took during the Valentine’s Banquet. Check it out!

I put together the first gallery in the Photos section. Currently it has 20 pictures of the IBLP Campus, but more will be added as time goes on!

KroonFamily.com made its first appearance online today! I uploaded the files from work since I’ve not been able to do so from the dialup connection at my house.

I decided to expand my coding knowledge by writing this website in PHP. Right now all I’m using are simple includes, but I hope to draw more heavily on this coding language.

I spent some time over the weekend making minor changes with the fonts and colors to give my website the overall look I wanted.

I implemented a “new” concept for the image of my family on the home page—it automatically resizes with the width of your browser! Check it out for yourself—isn’t that cool?

All the major bugs were worked out of the site after getting tips from John Long and by reading certain articles on alistapart.com.

Much more functionality was achieved in the site as major work was put into the design today. The design is taking shape nicely, and I think this will turn out to be a great website! Also, www.KroonFamily.com is now officially registered to me!

Alright! Today I signed up with 1&1 Internet Inc. on the last day of their promotional offer for three years FREE web hosting! Also today, I started the registration process for www.KroonFamily.com through 1&1.

I began working on the design of this website tonight.
